The idea came to me one night while I slept. It was of a picture of a couple who had had an argument. I wanted it split in two halves, one side of the picture in bright light and the other in a sinister darkness.

The idea developed into a more mysterious area where more and more I wanted the viewer to make up their own mind as to the story. There are a numbers of clues I have painted in order that several conclusions may be reached.

I have in my mind what has happened and I believe many will reach the same conclusion, but you have a look and see where you are led...
